OMG, Ignorant People Are Dumb

Ok, I know there are a bunch of similar threads, but I'm gonna share my story.

Alright, so my friend calls me up and invites me to go bowling with him, his girlfriend and the girlfriend's friend (We'll call her Jessica). So, I'm like cool, I'm up for some bowling... While waiting my turn to bowl, I'm just messing around and I do a little turtle freeze on one of the chairs, and my friend tells Jessica that I'm a breakdancer. She's all "Oh really, thats cool, what type of breakdancer are you?". And I'm all, "Uhh, how many types are there?". So she's like "Like, there's a bunch of different kinds." So I say "Uhh, I'm a BBoy...". And she says "Huh? Like what type of breakdancer are you?? Like do you krump?? Or... Krumpings tight!" And I'm just like OMFG "No, krumping retarded. Thats not breaking. I'm the type that rolls around on the floor and spins on his head and stuff." And she's like "Oh... thats cool."

Ahhhh!!!! Stupid people are dumb!!! Anyways, had to vent...

Yeah, I guess. It's just kinda rediculous. I mean, if someone doesn't know what a "BBoy" is, I think that's understandable, most people don't. But really, you don't know what a "breakdancer" is?!? C'Mon..

Ignorant is often used in an overly harsh way, or taken as such. I kinda think what you mean is that not knowing doesn't mean they are stupid, it just means they don't know.

i dont think its ignorant. They just dont know anything about the types of hip-hop dances. I'd say its stereotype in an innocent way. So u cant blame her

I have the same thing with my friends. They know i can breakdance and stuff, and they think poppin and locking is breakdancing so they think i can do that too lol (which im trying to getting into).
