What program are you editing in?

You can get stand alone programs like Cleaner, Sorenson Squeeze, etc.

In Premiere, Vegas, FCP etc. export quicktimes using sorenson squeeze or h264.

I don't have windows movie maker. How long is the vid and big is the file you have right now? I would guess and .avi?

Is there an export->quicktime function?

Uhhhh just save it under a lower filesize? wmm lets you specify quality and max filesize when you're saving ...
