changing styles?? -
12-14-2005, 07:12 PM
man i just saw that vid toprockin. think the guy name was kaku, idk. so like my style, its fairly common to the eyes. i want a special style like kaku's.
how do people like kaku get their style?? i mean its sooooo rare to see a good style of a bboy. i might be closed minded cuz im used to saying...his style is striking, his style is grappling, etc the truth is, i want something fairly to kakus style. is there something wrong with that? i mean, people has got to have an idea to where to start. |

Dont bite the hand that feeds u, eventually everyone helping u will get annoyed...jesus.
Beginners giving beginners tips without understanding what they are saying is probally one of the worst ways to spread KNOWLEDGE.....which is the key to anything in life.

people do this a lot when writing too.
don't work towards developing style, you're new to this anyway i'm assuming, just focus on getting moves down...style will come on its own naturally. your style will develop based on the way you like to see people dance...get out there, go to jams, meet different crews and bboys, and just practice, don't worry about style, don't try to dance like someone else. don't try to be someone else. why be a second rate [insert name here] when u can be the original you? and u can apply to almost anything creative. |
