What's the ultimate competition?

In your oppinion, what would you say is the ultimate competition for a Bboy to be in? BOTY? or RedBull or ... Also, WHY is it? I have heard arguments against all the major comps but since I have a lot of time on my hands I thought I might as well make this new thread.

Nah, Boty isnt even a BBOY comp....its a trick comp.

I'ma saying IBE or something similiar....its one of the biggest with the most raw people

BOTY, any street gymnast could do amazing.

redbull bcoone is good too, cuz its 1 on 1 so it shows the more rounded bboys n shit...its harder for 1 on 1 id say.

you can buy dvds of them off webstores...also on forums they post alot of footage....www.bboyworld.com and www.style2ouf.com have alot of videos

boty is gay... making people do a bunch of shows is retarded, this is bboying it should just be straight battling. Boty is more of a show for people in Germany to make money then an actual credible bboy jam. I would say fss was the ultimate bboy competition, but evolution will soon be the undisputed ultimate jam... evo 2 is gonna be good, but they are already planning evo3 its gonna be kinda like boty but without shows.

What I love about BOTY is the limitless possibilities of team power and style. The tricks are dope. AND YES. BOTY LACKS STYLE.

But I easily get bored of style if the style is all footwork or one type.

I can't stand Benji's "style." He doesn't dance.
Dyzee's style seems tough, but it's very repetative and boring.
It takes a real innovator like Abstrak to keep me interested in style, you know what I mean?

That's why I like freezes and power more than footwork. Too many people do footwork for 3 minutes without busting a blowup or even just one little halo.

And I have my reasons for saying this.

First the thread says "COMPETITION", not event. BOTY is without a doubt the biggest competition. Its the only competition that brings bboys from ALL OVER the world, not just the usual usa, korea, france.

People bitch about shows, but thats BOTY. If you dont like doing shows, DONT enter??

People talk shit on boty also for being commercial. What the hell is wrong with that? You HAVE to be commercial if you want to make a big competition. Just because its commercial doesnt mean its all of a sudden lost its bboying roots.

BOTY=ultimate competition because its the biggest, and most inclusive.

After that id say Freestyle session. Evolution 2 is going to be huge. If Evo3 is worldwide it will probably overtake freestyle session.
