intimidiation!!! problem -

sup peeps.. well to start the story... i have practice sessions 3 times a week... one on thursday with bboys at my level (medium) and i feel so good there.. i just practice my moves and do somethings that i would never have thought of before since am so in my zone and i lwas have great sessions on thursday where i give in all i got and i feel good about it.. anyway this sat was the first time i went to a saturday session and most of teh people that show up on sat are on advanced level and much older.....
i tried practicing but i couldnt stop watching them break it down and i felt so intimidated that i messed up almost everymove i tried busting... for f**k sake i couldnt even top rock on the beat (well they were kinda playing slow music but i don think thats a factor)... i stayed for less than an hour then i just took my stuff and left feeling like shit and i still do now!! well advice is always welcome but i jsut wote this to get it off my chest f**k i feel like i bitched out |

sometimes i think like that too...u jus gotta learn to not watch them...or if you are watching the more advanced bboys...then think to yourself "if he/she can do that...then i can too" also its good to become friends with those older bboys cuz then they could also help you out with your stuff..and then your confidence will rise...and u might feel like ur as advanced as them

think of it like this, when ever i get bitched in a battle i just use it to motivate myslef to get better. always remember that there is always someone out there better then you, and if you are the best there are millions trying to be better then you. just use it to motivate urself to get better.

thanx man .... i should have looked at it like that today.. but they were all kinda doing their own thing and chilling between themselves... i wanted to ask one of them to help me out with my airchairs but he just looked so into his stuff i didnt want to bother

and dont worry .. am pretty modest about my bboying especially with non breakers .. i actually hate it when peeps tell you " oooh you r a bboy! are you good?" i jsut tell them usuall that i've seen better

i agree with lotsofflave. as long as ur wid bboys it dont matter.
at a party my frends r all like yooo man just break dude ur rock omg i luv u. i got pissed at the party though i stayed late and only 1 girl and a gang of guys.they were all crumpin. and her bro started kicking soccer balls at people.rofl. cut it short.never hurts to try always ask questions.but if ur better than someone dont ask.ull be very disappointed ull want to  them |
