1st place - Last For One (Korea)
2nd - Ichigeki (Japan) 3rd - Gamblerz (Korea) 4th - Phase T (France) Best show - Ichigeki. Couldn't comment on the top4 rankings as I didn't pay much attention to the final battles, but from what I saw of the shows I'm convinced that Ichigeki were the best. The circles were the best part for me though. Me and some of the people I went over with got a circle going at the end and got some dope throwdowns in it. Ended up big. Got cut short after they cut the music to announce the winners though. The best part of the whole trip was getting lost on the way to the after-party at Toxic and ending up in a tran station with a few hundred bboys. Live funk band and DJ providing the beats. Some really high-standard throwdowns in there, and I had a nice little battle with a random German bboy. A good time was had by all. Next year I am definately going. BOTY is no longer a video that comes out once a year - lol. It's now an absolute must-visit event. |
