What you need to do is obey your brain's urge to read the sticky instead of posting straight away and creating the 1 000 000th post that basically reads "where do i start".
If you actually read the top posts in word up forum you'll see a giant two called "NOTICE...Please Read" and also "Using this Forum/FAQ. Read this BEFORE YOU POST" So following these logical steps, read these posts and go from there. If you're talking moves wise, go for 6 step, toprock, 2 step, pompo, baby freeze and work your way from there. Foundation- referring to the basis for the dance (don't forget after all, this is a dance and it's about ALL the moves, not just power)-is incredibly important so don't forget to not just learn the moves, but also learn to hit beats when you toprock and do your downrock (floor moves). Lastly, welcome to the forums and bboy.org on the whole. Peace Edit: Body size doesn't matter, only determination and will power |

"Who ever had the nerve to say "teach me", was considered a sucker, a lil' bitch-ass punk. So you never asked no one to teach you, you never clapped when a nigga did a good move, you just stood there and acted hard, like it didn't phase you. It was all about attitude, everyone else did the clapping, not the B-Boys."

back to the original question. to a point buddy. i mean if you feel your 20 pounds overweight itll be hard for you to get the body strength to equal your weight. im guessing alot of moves require you to atleast be able to life atleast 75 percentof you body weight. i mean if your really dedicated want to do it you should try working out and/or going to sessions to learn from other bboys..doesnt matter how big or how small. ive seen 13 year old kids that could rip. an if seen six foot three tall guys do flares and and have some ill footwork. it all depends on your will to work. easy. ONE. |
