Sup all, I just wanted to get some love and some personal welcomes from all of you at the BBOY.org community. I have to say this is the best bboy community online. Always wanted to wanted to get into beat breaking before being in my teens, problem was never really met peeps who could break and when I did they were usually dickfaces who tried to keep it all esoteric. That was my problem for many yrs, I just kept running into jerk offs until last yr I met some good peeps. Just bought the "Breakdance Step by Step" DVD, plan on learning the basics off that. I've been to a few shows, and i've always wanted to b-battle, looking forward to doing that a few months from now. I remember some of the lamest shit some bboys told me like, you need to start when you're young, you can't start in your twenties. Shit, I learned how to do swipes from just watching the dvd preview offered at bboy.org .

wus up man, welcome.
your right, it doesnt matter when u start bboyin. if your in your twenties thats coo, i got some homies startin out at the same age u are. and dont trip, there are some bboys out here in la that r assholes but there r lots of coo heads out here too. my advice to u is to hit up bboy/bgirl events whenever u can, embrace the hip hop culture, and meet new people. again, welcome. peace |
