How have you learned to Breakdance?

1. Are you went in to a Breakdance course?
or
2. Did you learn it by yourself.

I tried it by myself.

At the moment I can do:
Toprock (Basic)
6-Step
Handstand for Headspin for 43 Seconds

Sorry for my englisch.

Learned it all by myself, as I'm the only one here that breaks.

Well...I don't know if I should say that I learned by myself.

Bboy.org helped me and The Breakdance Step by Step DVD helped me a lot. I'm still a beginner...I mastered the basic toprock and six step. I'm still on the footwork segment...But I am also stretching everyday.

But if you want something to start you off, I would mos def recommend the Breakdance Step by Step DVD.

i'm mostly self-taught. but it's good to go out there, like outside of your own little town, and look for some bboys and session spots. battling and sessioning with dope bboys frequently makes you real good real fast.

the people i used to break with exposed me to some of the things i know how to do, but i had to learn how to actually do it on my own.

check my video guide in the Flare section of the Move Guides forum.

Eh I started out just learning alone, no one else bboys in Davis anyways.. I just did some moves my own style, after a while I joined bboy.org for some help so I can get better. Right now most of my moves are learned from bboy.org.

you learn by doing, personally some of thoe b-boy classes that teach routines aiint my thing cause it just aiint learning b-boying, but classes that will teach you individual stuff is okay cause then you can put it together yourself.

no one can teach you your style, you can have influences but thats as far as it goes.
