NO no no no no.
I've seen people take off shoes before they step into a circle and I can't stand it. I know a guy with massive feet too and he never has a problem. If your shoes are weighing you down, get some more lightweight shoes. Puma do some that hardly weigh a thing. |

I like it better when I'm wearing shoes. For example when I mill with shoes I get so much extra momentum because of the shoes.

Pointless though.
You practice without shoes, get it locked, and then you put shoes on and you suck and have to learn new techniques. Always practice in the kind of gear (clothes and shoes) that you're going to be dancing in. |

I've never had any problem switching from shoes to no shoes, unless I put on my twenty pound church shoes, then it matters. But I generally practice with no shoes and then when I dance I have shoes on.

lol...
this reminds me of the time i first started out; i hated shoes cause i thought they wore me down (i was sportin some heavy ass reboks). so instead of going barefoot, i used to bust in HOUSE SHOES. but in reality those were just like socks. then one day i jamed my big toe at full speed into the floor, needless to say, i wore shoes ever since. |

DUDE
Buy some old school SS2G Adidas shoes and dance with those for at LEAST a few months.. they are heavy as ISH! Then change your shoes to PUMAS...you will SO feel a difference in everything you do. Like the Romas or somethin. It's awsm. ;\ -Paz. |

Cons are available in black.
Maybe not the graff style ones but they are out there. Personally I don't see the big deal with them. |
