What's Speedy talking about? - 04-07-2005, 08:04 AM

I was just watching all of the things I hadnt watched yet on the Bboy.org dvd and Bboy Speedy is talking about the toprock.. Why does he seem really really against leaning back in toprock? Not that I do it, but he says "people toprock like this, and they call themselves bboys?".

I dont understand what he means, what's so wrong with it. Personally I dont do it but im sure people do and it doesnt look bad. What has he got against it?

I havent seen that but i can guarantee you theres more to it than your seeing. I'm sure its not the leaning back, but probably something else he does that your missing, personally I find tops that are more relaxed looking (leaning back?) are much better looking than when guys are hunched over tryin to watch their feet or sumthin. Chances are though hes talking about something else.

there is alot to what he says but he doesn't explain it in the best way, he gets pissed off and it throws off what he's trying to say...

when you battle, your opponent is your enemy, you're having a battle, not a birthday party, when people toprock and leanback like that, it doesn't look raw, it looks more like happy go lucky pussy kinda shit...don't know if I said it well enough but thats as good as I can explain what his point is
