The card board is probably real small huh? I have a large 10 foot by 8 foot piece of cardboard and it still slides. There is no solution other than to get a larger cardboard, a larger surface area means more frictions and less sliding. Or you can linoleum which is heavier and slides less. It also depends on the type of concrete, whether its asphalt or a smooth garage floor. If it is a smooth garage floor just do it straight on the floor. Cardboard is not meant for cushion just for a smooth surface.

For me, I have this 7.5 x 9.5 cardboard and 6 x 9 linoleum, and duct tape stays with it. I just set up the cardboard where I want it to be set up, I stick the linoleum on top of it, then I just use really long pieces of duct tape to tape it down. It never slided for me.
