never give up....so you arent progressing as fast as others..big deal..thats still a good list...im sure by now you have your own style.... some of the best breakers in the world..don't do any power *thats pretty much all i see you're lacking* ... but don't give up...and maybe its the perspective you have on it thats holding you back..bboyin you should do for fun...it shouldnt be a _chore_ or something you _have to perfect_...you should dance/bboy because you love it..fuck what anyone else thinks you do it for you.

thats just my take on it.

If you want to quit, than posting this thread is only delaying the enevadable. Don't come listing moves, and ask if you should continue to b-boy or not. B-boying is not about the "Cool Moves" you can do, it's about enjoying the culture, the music and the art behind it.

If you've truley lost the passion to continue to b-boy, I feel bad and wish you the best in anything you do. However, I urge you to remeber these words and think if it's really what you want to do.

It's not your time to go,

if i was u i wouldnt quit but im not you

if you are quiting i dont think its because of the lack of moves you just lost the love for dancing and you still love dancing and u just dont think you are good enough it doesnt matter how good you are do it because you love it

And these are the breaks . . .

I'ma agree with syn...its not about moves anyway, n ud realize that if u still had the love of the art form.

look at it this way, even if u were insane, in 4 years people would be doing the shit ur doing in less the 6 months of bboyin, thats progression. u shouldnt get mad about it than like u shouldnt get mad about shit taking time.

focus, stay in the game...

Dont bite the hand that feeds u, eventually everyone helping u will get annoyed...jesus.

Beginners giving beginners tips without understanding what they are saying is probally one of the worst ways to spread KNOWLEDGE.....which is the key to anything in life.

well he did say only 4 hrs a week..and im guessin hes putting his energy and resources into something else more than breakin..hes just doing it on the side...

kinda like the same way someone works full time and goes to school for 8 years to get a 4 year degreee....

IF he practiced 4 hrs a day like some of the psycho bboys out there that live eat and breathe it ...then he prolly would have progressed a lot faster.

it's not about being the best
you'll never be the best

so why do you care if people get moves faster than you do?
if you aren't feeling it right now , my opinion is that you should take a break and learn something different - check out kung fu, yoga, salsa, swing dancing... i don't care ,just mix the stuff up for a while until you get inspired to break again

you do this for the LOVE of it, not to prove anything , if you're doing it for an external reason you're only going to be constantly dissatisfied with the results. Listen to what your body and your spirit want, and trust that if you're meant to break, you'll come back to it.

sometimes the only way to go forward is to get some distance and some perspective, take a breather, and dive back in when you're good and ready.

you must have been a bgirl.... because the only moves that you pulled on me were heartbreakers

Turn around and start asking me / about
