Results of a school dance -
09-19-2004, 04:40 PM
At Downy Highschool here in Modesto there was a dance from 9:00 - 12:00P.M. There I did my best sets I ever did and grinded with the hottest girls there and they let me.
One of my highlights was when I did a flare some footwork up and threaded a hanstand then fell and stabbed into a turtle went on one hand planted my head on the ground and lifted my legs tried to thread , but lost balance so I moved my stab to my back and went into an airchair and fell down to a chair. Everyone kept on telling me to do windmills. I did them so many times My whole shoulder about the size of a creditcard was cut open and it bled through 3 layers of shirts. I dont miss Junior High anymore... ![]() |

oh hell yes, that happened to me playing rugby, i had to tackle a guy about 6 foot 6 and 100 kilos, and with more facial hair than my dad....not fun..you think its fine one minute, and then you move it in a different direction and it still hurts like a biatch...the pain always changes around and stays for a long time.. i love rugby ![]() |

I had a recent dance too. My friend and this other guy were battling it out, poppers and stuff until the bboys came in and just chilled, have fun in the circle. THen these stupid idiots run in and starts jumping around flipping everyone off in the crowd and just annoyed me like fuck.
I was sitting in the crowd, watching the bboys try to get them out. But it didnt work cuz there were a lot of the idiots and like, only 2-3 bboys. So then i went in, pulled off flare-windmill and managed to hit at least 3 of them. They said "motherfucker!" and walked off cuz they didnt want to get hit. It was a fun night overall. Although i did get a lot of "do your windmill do your windmill!!!" or "do your nutcracker do your nutcracker!!" oh whatever same shit. I have a lot of scabs on my right arm and my back. My shoulders are okay, i dunno why. The dance was outside on CoNcReTe. |

Yeah about 2 weeks ago a had a dance that was so fuckin dope u guyz wouldnt even believe. I hadn't bboy'd in a circle for months on end and when i got in there it took me all of 10 mins before i had a slammin circle goin and i was throwin down some of the dopest sets i have ever done before. I was even pullin shyt i didnt kno i could, lyke stuff that i have never practiced before and have only really thought about trying. So for like the first half hour of the dance i rocked out the circles alone with everyone cheering me on and have a great time n shyt, but then one of my best friends (who is also in my crew) showed up and then when me AND him got to throw down in the circle the whole place just went off the head.. THE WHOLE NIGHT WAS JUST FUCKING INCREDIBLE
Yeah and Genetix i hear ya with the whole flamers jumpin in and fucking with the circle thing..... that happens at like every dance i go to atleast one time during the night, its a pain in the ass but its usually ends up that me or one of the other bboys quietly drop him in the middle of the circle where no adults can see lol |

true bboys always stay true to the crew.............~peace~

Man, at my stomp on saturday, i wasn't planning to enter the circle, but then my friend was like, go go, so i was just planning to pull a freeze, but then i figured i had to Toprock, cuz its just a have to, then i started dancing.....So then i was like forget this, so i went outside of the circle and worked on my turtles, so this one kid and his posse came over while i was holding the handglind freeze (ya know with one arm), then, his people were like, can you do this, so then the kid goes for one of them shallow handstands whatever, and i was like i donno if i can do that, so i was like ok whatever, so i just started working on my turtles again...i was like ok....this kid doesn't have any footwork, just Butt spins (which i dont consider a move), and a little handstand freeze...perhapes i should just talk to the dude and see if he can do anything else, cuz he was acting all hard, not to sound cocky or anything but i know i suck, and i had more stuff then the kid did. |

yea, the only thing that makes up for the the injuries is that they usally happen to you during power moves and well then you can practice your footwork....and if you hurt yourself durin the 6step...well...damn
