Preferred hand.. - 09-18-2004, 09:50 AM

Hey guys.. Well we all have preferred hands.. mine is my left, but I write with my right. And I'm currently practising freezes on my right hand.. could this come back to bite me on the ass?

See my av? That's me.

_rotfl...yo read the title of your one more time bud. o but on a serious note i think that everyone has a preffered had but that its better to learn to use both hands. one use both allows you to train both of your hands as well as getting them to bear your weight well.

for example constant using one had to do kicks an poses is sort of lifting weights with one are tied behind your back all the time. eventually your other arm will not be as strong as the other.
peace.

if you make your left hand stronger, ur wrists will be equally strong, which is a good thing to have

Being left or right handed has NOTHING to do with which arm you favour in freezes, or which direction you do footwork in.

Forget about wether it's right or wrong - you have a natural direction - stick with it and learn everything that way around.
Once you've nailed it - learn it the other way - but learn it the natural way first - otherwise you'll cause yourself problems.

Clockwise (freezes on, and spins off right arm) - or counter clockwise (freezes on, and spins off right arm) - are like goofy and regular in skating or surfing - it has no relation to left and right handed - it's just whichever is natural to you.

A bboy without style, is like a broken pencil.

There's just no point.

funny how no matter how many months I stop using this website for recreation, stiff's always around setting people straight.

Good advice though, now I'm wondering about 2005...
