After 4 Years I'm Starting to Bboy again - 09-15-2004, 10:31 PM

I haven't break danced since i was in the 8th grade in 1999-2000, i used to have nutcrackers, windmills, babys, 90's, crickets , and style.. now i'm older, bigger (160 used to weigh 110) and i am trying to make a comeback, but i think all my breaking friends moved on and break dancing probably isn't as fun unless you have a partner, or multiple partners, breaking alone must suck so I was wondering if there was a way i could find some local breakers in Santa Clarita CA to break wit

Roses are red violets are blue, God made me so good so what the fuck happened to you?

haha, welcome to the club. I haven't been breaking since 1994. I was 100 lbs. back then. Now I'm 160ish. All my friends are old (mid 20s) and have jobs, so they don't have time for this type of stuff. It was a lot of fun back then and I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun now...once I get everything setup again.

Welcome back

Good luck with it, and good luck finding people to dance with - As TinyD said, local boards would be a good start - as would be the HOOK UP section of this site...
http://www.bboy.org/f23/s

Might also be worth using the SEARCH function of the site too...
At the top of this page on the right hand side you'll find a "Search" link - if you put your place name in there (and if that doesn't work, the names of places nearby) you may strike lucky.

Just be aware that some of the posts on this site are OLD - and some of what you might find could be from users who were only on this site once or twice many moons ago.

(Tip - if you use the "show results as posts" option on the search page, you get a preview of any posts containing your search terms - and also a date to give you an idea of if it's a recent thread or not)

Hope you have some luck.

God Bless

A bboy without style, is like a broken pencil.

There's just no point.

I live in the Bonita area, but I work out of the Miramar area. So getting around town usually isn't a problem.
