Well, I'm just about to start breakdancing and I was wondering the surface you need to break dance on. Like if I have to buy something or what not. Help would be so awesome thanks everyone.

Wooden floor would be the best to dance on.

but if you don't have wooden floor, get lino to break on.
try hardware stores for lino...

what i have found out when i work on bboying, the only time i need to work on Hardwood or what not, is during a spinning move, you can do footwork fine on carpet, or flat grass, or whatever basically

Bboying is what you make it.

a 6x9ft sheet of lino at home depot is about 15 bucks. if you want the carpet padding to put under it, another 15 bucks. 30 bucks for dance floor is good if you plan on using it everyday.
