Where to practice? -
07-10-2004, 11:20 AM
OK... I have no place to practice here.
My bedroom is tiny, my feet crash into stuff when I do footwork or practice mills. Downstairs it is full of chairs and sofas, no room to even do footwork. No basement or anything like that, this is my grandparent's house in Shanghai (usually live in LA) and it is on the 11th floor of a building. If i go down there is nothing but a driveway (lots of cars going by) and the little patches of grass are full of trees and flowers. If I go past my building the sidewalk is full of bikers and people, they'd run over me AND laugh at my bad moves. Any suggestions as to where I could practice? |

Does the apartment have a basement? If it does get some linolium and practice down there. Ask your landlord first though.
If it's that big of an apartment if might have some squash courts or something? What about on the roof? |

_yeah try the basement of the apartment building or the roof. are there ne basketball courts or somethin around. even a mall. but usually in the mornings basketball courts an parks are empty so try those. break at the mall if you want to but realize its bound to draw crowds. find some bboys near you.
[an yo fleetfeet whats with the negativity he was askin an honest question. chill homeboy. im no mod but comments like that arent gonna get u very far.] hope that helped aznbboy.peace. _oNe_ |

no offense dude, im just telling u to go out and explore ur surroundings and start finding sum real bboys. ur family sounds wack(no offense) and if they telling u crazy shit like tai chi stunts your growth then you seriously need to consider about the other things they saying. sides if your grandmom is sayin it she prolly just jealous of the other old people doing it in the park and communing with god and the infinite.
