i think one of the best things about footwork besides the fact that it can look way sweet, is that you can know one footwork move like the 6-step, and be able to do it both ways, to work it into something really sweet, so it seems like you know more that what you actually do

Every Variation of move or movement that goes into your muscle memory is something you earned. You can practiced it then you know how to do it cause you you did, the ability didn't just show up out of no where. Smoothness in your footwork comes from practice and unless you are labeling your ability to dance by the "number" of moves you have footwork is hardwork to develope as well.

to get footwork to not be repetitive, you hafta devote much more time to it than power...cuz footwork is done so fast that you do a tech and its done...like you dont wanna use it again. footwork gives you more freedom than power...thats what i like about it lol
