combining moves?

hey when you do style moves can it be like combining swipes in with your 3-4-or 6 step? any of you guys mix moves an i mean not like combos but doing continous 6 stepping but swiping to restart it..so would that be style or what

think out of the box ...

you can do whatever you want as long as it is on par with the human body limits . forget style , forget power , forget labels . you meddle too much with how you gonna call it or what it will be considered .

just do it .

I'm not sure if I completely understand what you mean; but Style is the thing in your dancing that seperates you from being a person who is doing dance steps, and someone who is dancing. It's like your own personal way of doing moves. Hard to explain, but I think you get it.

u can combine footwork with freezes, freezes with freezes, footwork with power, freezes with power, and power with power.

Thats basically the formula for it. And u can top to anything - but try not to jump into a freeze/power move most of the time. Peace

do whatever u feel comfortable with, your own style, your own stuff that makes u feel good when you do it. just do it, practice it, work on it, master it, make it look smooth..

get a video camera record yourself and see what you can do better. Thats how i progress. Either that get someone to break with you and then you can judge each other.
