The greatest feeling!. - 05-16-2004, 02:22 AM

Alright, if you dont know i just started to learn how to break dance, and i can do some stuff, it doesnt look to great, but atleast i got something. Anyways, tonight at my work (I work for a BIG catering company). So anyways, there was a party for a highschool prom, and after work normally there wouldnt be to many people on the floor so i would go practice some of my moves i learned from the DVD. But tonight a bunch of people were still dancing, and just as i came out and started to stretch a tad bit, "Sandstorm" By Da rude came on.. and i couldnt help but go and dance. Then a circle was formed and some lamers came out and tried to dance, it was pretty sad for even me to watch. But i didnt want to just stand there and observe so i went out and went from some basic top rock into some basic footwork. I can tell you nothing feels better then hearing the crowd oooo and ahhh you. Even though my stuff wasnt great (and i got showed up seconds after by one of the dj's LMAO) But anyways it was awesome.. now i know EXACTLY why you all dance.

and btw i know how you feel man, i get that all the time but that isnt my real reason why i dance

practice makes perfect? no no no.... PERFECT practice makes perfect

Well i know its not, the only reason you dance, theres many other reasons, as you said the culture, the relationships, keeping your body in shape, and as David elsewhere put it " Theres just some beats you cant help but dance to". But you have to admit, the feeling is great and it drives you to get better and continue dancing.

Yes it is. But not as good as the feeling you get when your in a circle with lots of people and you crap your pants. This is the reason why I dance. The ooohhhhhhhhh and HOLY! comments i get from the crowd is just fantastic. They have never seen so much crap come from someone. Peeace.

Vin Diesel and the Internet - relation? I THINK SO

Vin Diesel invented the internet while trying to steal cable TV.

Contrary to popular belief, it was in fact Vin Diesel who invented the internet. Al Gore stole the designs when Vin fell asleep at his keyboard.

That's cool man, good work.

And for the other people on this site; don't be all like "OOH THAT'S NOT REALLY WHY I DANCE!", remember why you started dancing, you didn't know shit about the culture I bet, I mean Hell, I didn't even know there WAS a culture built around it untill I came here with a different name last year in 2002.

if u dunt dance that ur gonna soon realize u'd get alot more haters then ppl actually respecting ur art.. they may like u for what u doing but soon they'll demand moves from u they want to see. it feels like u being toyed wit..

if anything ignore their praise cuz they really don't understand what your doing..yeah if u are driven by their praise ur gonna realize how much u suck when a bboy roasts u in front of all ur "fans..keep ur bboyin to urself..serve heads when they try to break, don't whore a circle for its props
