05-10-2004, 08:15 PM
Alright, here is a ?, from a newb. Ok, I like flips and all, and i'm trying to learn some, but do you guys add flips, into ur combos? Or do you just do them for the heck of it, while not in the dancin' ring? I just wonderin, so I can see if I should try to incorporate, a flip of two, into my upcoming combo

depends on what type of flip, I've seen alot of people go into their toprock from a flip (entrance into a circle). I've also seen people do back flips and front flips to combo with broncos and kip ups then go into footwork from there(drop down).
Use em how you like Personally I try not to use flips because no matter how good your flip is someone in the crowd can probably out do you... espcially if they have more ups. |

incorporate it into your footwork, it looks dope when you're doing tricks/freeze and flip in between, I always throw in backhansprings cause I've always liked them, flips is a way to make your breaking more explosive and more exciting, nearly every bboy does some kind of flips....

I like BHS alot as well... they're one of the easiest to add into routines. Another couple ones I dig are BTwists and Doublelegs, with all their variations.
