There isn't any of that deep shit like if you bboy you are at one in deep mediatation and have a connection with god while in the middle of an freeze....
No it's a natural rush for me. Dancing is what I do cause I would prob be doing drugs and or selling like alot of the people I've hung out with for years. I also dance cause thats something I love to do, bboying is just an avenue of dancing that I chose to adopt after dancing other styles for awhile. Last but not least, you know how everyone has some avenue to vent their feelings? Whether sports, fighting, rhyming, drawling, writing or even gossiping among their friends ... Well I just dance... |

bboyin means a lot to me, 80 percent of my life.
whenever i get stressed out, from all the drama (girl, family, school probmes) and other bad stuff, bboyin comes in and i feel better. helps me take my mind off a lot of things. bboyin is very positive, helped me get through a lot of things before, bah i dunno where i would be if i never bboyed |

I dance for no one but myself.
breaking is a challenge for me to beat myself and improve. It challenges my physical self and my creative self- like trying to make up routines with friends, or making up footwork Secondly it's part of my identity, I didn't really know who i was till I started breaking, but it brings out your real style, not the face you put on for society, and you express that through your top rock, footwork and moves. Thirdly, it's a self esteem thing, there is no better feel then winning a battle or learning a new, hard move- I don't do it to burn the other person, I do it to see what I can do, and if it's my potential. bboy'n is my life. |

well bboyin to me is essentially hip-hop (muzik that i love). i figure by bboyin , im showin respect to the old skool guyz who started the 4 main elements (the reason we still have hip-hop going strong till dis day).so i guess to me by bboyin , im helping keep hip-hop alive
