The music? It depends on my mood. When I practice session, I normally put on an assortment of Hip Hop, breakbeats, break funk, funk, and old school. I also throw in battle breaks to keep my battle skills in check.
In general, however, I usually listen to rock, RnB, DNB, UK Garage, and Jungle when I'm not dancing. I love guitars... Disturbed, Cold, Nirvana, 3 Days Grace... just to name a few groups that I listen to. When I'm in a Hip Hop mood, I usually throw on some underground Hip Hop - Styles of Beyond, Hieroglyphics, BoomBap Project... but I also am a huge fan of Eminem; his style is raw.
For me, music is music, and I love anytype, except country.
As for your post, I suggest practicing and dancing to an assortment of music, particularly breaks and battle breaks - since many of times, those are the types that are played at big events and battles.

Whatever, I'll listen to just about anything it its got a good beat and it gets me going, I listen to pretty much everything except country I can't stand that shit, sorry if I offended anyone by that. Anyways. When it comes to bboyin, dancin its all funk and soul, old school and some new school hiphop and rap , some techno (it depends) breakbeats, whatever sounds good.

Lol. I seem to be mumbling off in a lot of my posts. Making what I'm trying to say more harder and confusing to understand then it already is... God Dammit.

yeah a good beat helps loads.I cant keep up with a really fast beat though.I tend to break to Drum and Bass cus it has a solid drum beat and the music is repetitive, which helps with the timing of moves.

I dance to ANYTHING...cept maybe country...never tried. Its alot easier to dance to rap, funk, breaks, ect. but you can dance to rock. If I dance to punk...stuff like bouncing souls, rancid, swingin utters...I do alot of downrock and maybe power, but I like some good beats for tops...and linkin parks ok for dancin cause its kinda like a break with guitars laid over...
Vin Diesel and the Internet - relation? I THINK SO
Vin Diesel invented the internet while trying to steal cable TV.
Contrary to popular belief, it was in fact Vin Diesel who invented the internet. Al Gore stole the designs when Vin fell asleep at his keyboard.
