hip hop is being expossed by the media pretty hardcore lately and i think its gonna get worse/better (what ever your opinion of it is). Im sure people from your area will want to learn how to break as it will be the "hip thing to do", you should think of this as a good thing - you get a headstart on them

ohh i just realised your from rocky, thats dope. im in North queensland - a little shithole called Tully, its about 2 hour drive south of cairns. yeah ive got the same situation there is only 1 other guy around here that i would even consider a 'breaker' let alone bboy. But it will get better, Trust me. Australia is pretty behind on things but like i said it will become alot more popular, i even saw a half hour program on channel win about B.O.T.Y australia. Shittyest coverage ive ever seen and not many decent bboys. One guy was saying how he'd been breaking for 9 years, and the interviewer said "ohh ok so can you give us a demo?" and he gets down into some ugly ass low 2-legged swipes followed by a 6-step and the worm......... i was thinking FUCK this guy needs to practice more often. But yeah keep breaking, dont be discouraged just because you have no1 to break with. It wont be like that for long.

I'm one of the few people that bboy where I live , there used to be a couple of people I used to bboy with but some moved out of state, or went over to something else like being a raver , got bored with bboying or claim to do some bboying but mostly hip hop freestyle dance , cus no one respects bboying or some shit like that. Next to practicing bboying I'd really want to form a crew really bad. oh well I guess it's just practice for now.

Yeah I know what you mean alot of peeps in my yr at school....they all like clubbin music. There trying to be like eachother, this really pisses me off. But hey it's Hereford there are alot of peeps here that don't know anything about the hip hop culture, theres only about 30 bboys here, and a few hip hop heads.
But when i go anywhere else...like Bristol i went to a breakin event 2 weeks back and there were bboys and hip hop heads everywhere lol
It's just that there are so many hip hop haters in Hereford that think that hip hop is about fucking bitches and shooting peeps....damn they haven't got a clue lol
But i don't give a shit M-TRIXX BBOY FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!

man get some friends who are into hip hop and want to learn to join you and just teach them
or else you could continue learning yourself from videos and guides and whatever and then teach beginners the basics you could even make some money from it if ur the only one doing it.
that way ull have many beginners starting and some will continue thats how things got started round here

man its like that here, but theres like just people that breakdance just to pass time, not as a hobbie or a lifestyle so it might as well be like how you are describing it
It doesn't matter what religion you believe in, or what god(s) you worship, just believe in something.

I am also quite alone (in my skool) cuz no1 breakdances there and no one's interested at all. But I breakdance 2 have fun and not 2 be in a crew or anything. I just breakdance by myself and get pleasure from it. I dont give a damn what ppl think about me and my breakdance, i just do what i want. In good moments, i can show it and every1 gets amazed easily. So just breakdance for urself and dont give a damn about the others' opinions of u. Peace

I thought that, but if you try harder and be patient you'll find some.
Bboying is what you make it.
