people wit bad eyesight and wears glasses

Alrighty~ I'm pretty much a noob (been trying to learn for bout 3 months) but the thing is I wear glasses. Ive been mostly learnin toprock, footwork, swipes, turtles so there haven't been a problem ---- but nowadays I was tryin to learn windmills and found that my glasses get bent wen I lean my head on the floor.

Just wanted some feedback on others that break wit their glasses~ then again.... seems like there aren't many bboys that wear glasses -__- sigh...

yea Ino there's a similar thread but it seemed old and there really didn't seem that much feedback...

Its not the best thing to wear glasses when sessioning. I have hella bad site but I can see the ground when I'm doing windmills ha. Just when you session, take them off, when you're done, put them back on.

dont lean ur head on the floor. glasses are a minor set back, nothing u cant get over. ie./ taking them off before u do mad airflares lol

Take them off when you practice then.

FYI, i wear contacts. Best decision I ever made, i see better then 20/20 now

I wear glasses and I bboy personally I haven't had any problems with bboying while wearing glasses. The main thing I'd worry about is when your doing backhandsprings or trying to do windmills other than that bboy in glasses has been ok for me , plus if I wore contacts my eyes would probably be really iritated cus sometimes sweat gets in my eyes and stuff when I practice. Plus the wierdest thing for me is that if I do handstands, or headstands my glasses stay on.

wordd up- totally relate to ur sweat getting in da contacts and irritating da eyes. and yea glasses do stay on when doin most stuffs wit freezes and handstands but they do sorta bounce around and bother the groove on ur nose doesn't it?

i got a very big-frame glasses and yeah it really bothers me when i do some near-death,gravity defying, and gun in the bullet moves...so i just take it off when i dance.....i dont need to look to dance,i just feel the beat and dance.......but sometimes when i do uprock,i wear my glasses,gotta keep up with the oldskool look.

i wear glasses and when i break, i dont have any problems with them......they stay on when i do all sorts of crazy stuff.....most of the time... it feelz as if im not wearing glasses at all......but i hate glasses....i tried for contacts but it wasnt workin for me....i just cant get how to put contacts on....

hey man, i wore glasses for a couple of years and then went to contacts!.. and as graffitimachina said.. its the best decision

i found it VERY hard toput on when i went for the trial.. and they were bugging me telling me that i have big eyelashes and you keep blinking when you try to put them in!..LOL
but i didnt give up man... and now, i slot them in 1 second and go!.. and i hardley notice them their.. before i used to feel them (but you get used to them).

and yeh, their great for breakin'.. they dont get inthe way.. and if sweat goes inside your eyes, well... i doubt that will make a diffrence, after all.. the wetter the contact lense the better.

If the glasses r bothering u, u should take them off while breakin. I'm sure u can see the floor if your gonna fall.

just wanna ask u guys with contact lenses.......when u wash ur eyes.....u know,when u are sleepy and u wanna concentrate on the lecture....does the lenses drop off from ur eyes?

nope... unless you reeely reely wash your eyes...lol

but your not supposed to sleep with contact lenses, otherwise they just dry up and stick to your eyes and they would have to cut a thin piece of your eye out were the contact lense is

.. but thats pretty raire... it only happens if you sleep for about 24hrs in them..

i slept a couple of hours, it was fine..

hmm once i wore my contacts for 6 days straight. nothin happened. but yah, w/ the sweat in ur eyes and contacts, if you sweat, it'll probably just go around the contact and it wont irritate your eyes. so yah i think you should get contacts, or you could take the glasses off, cuz the glasses can really hurt if you mess up.
