Somethings missing here an injury board.
I mean i just got myself 2 Muscle fiber tears. One on the left lower arm, the other on the right one. I got to pause breakin now for at least 1 week. (of to poppin then hehe)
And i dont even have a place where i can write and get attention like a hurt lil' pussycat. I feel very bad about that.

So, ALL THE WUSSES OUT THERE come in HERE and tell us what you have hehe. and.. gimme some comfort. Please hehe

kickass i been waiting to bitch about my injury

i got a torn medial meniscus ( cartilege in the knee) and i went to a orthopedic surgeon about it, he was a complete dumbass, so i went to the best in the state of alabama, and he was a dumbass too.... then i moved to texas (damn family) and i went to a doctah there, he was good and he fixed up mah knee. Now i can't do any strenuous activity for 3+ months

right now i got some bruises on my knees from doing flares (i landed wrong ) and during my first tries on windmills - which was some years ago - i busted my back hips for always slamming it to the ground when i didn't complete a mill....that sucks....now i kno better, hehe

ok,to prevent injuries,prac with pros and stretch.i attempted flare and landed on my toes and spine.now i got phobia pz

i'm not injured right now but I've had some pretty bad ones... internal bleeding in my hip from windmills,(Didn't collapse proper) stuff like broken toes, a mild concussion, hyperextended elbow, took a 3 foot fall straight down onto my head and got knocked out... I can' think of anymore off the top of my head besides muscle pulls... Thanks for hearing me bitch!!

Hyperextended Elbow ? Explain that one hehe...

I got one when i started fresh. I couldnt do a proper handstand and was pretty scared of doin it (dont ask me why), so I practiced it on the wall... well, i got up... but i had way to much power... my legs hit the wall but not straight, more diagonally, and instead of bouncin back i was confused and tried to twist my body so i could land proper (what works WITHOUT wall when you go up to fast) well, it didnt work =). My legs slided twisted like to the right on the wall, scratched alot a my knees with it and my feet landed perfectly on my right hand which took another part of my skin away The maximum of bad luck =)

Pretty painfull but nothin serious gladly hehe

Injury Board... lol. This reminds me of my s**t times.... Windmillz... When I was still learning them, the parts that I busted badly was: both shoulders, both hips, my head, my spine, my right elbow, my knees and my feet. Ouch! But THANK GOD i got through it. Good luck to all of you learning millz and dont bust urselves!!!

Some of the injuries I have gotten from bboying have been minor so far , but that's only cus I was lucky. bit at a time like flares and turtles and I'm still working on windmils and headspins. Here are my injuries

sore/sprained wrists from practicing the flare and turtles , felt like my wrists were going to break in half.

mashed fingers from practicing windmills

bboy burns on shoulders from practicing mills

scraped knee from flares

sprained ankle from landing too hard after doing kipups and fronthandsprings.

sore neck and shooting pain down my back from doing head stands to prepare for headspins.

just got told at the hospital that i got a sprained ankle ....just cos i landed on the side of my foot when jumping ....and now it has to stay calm for 2-3 weeks AT LEAST.........AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*ta kes a deep breath*AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Injuries aren't preventable. It comes with the hobby. I"m not sure how you can land on your toes and your spine trying flares, cuz they're on the opposite side of your body(front and back). But since you didn't land on your ass, at least you're hips are elevated. As for my injuries, I've been hurt everywhere but never needed a hospital.... although sometimes I should have.

All part of dedication =] Tore my left hip ligament doing leg hop to splits transitions. Sprained my wrists countless of times. Fractured a hand due to bad hand placements. Not as bad as some kids out there.
