Start off learning a good toprock and start learning footwork(6-step comes first, then 3-step, and then practice doing your own variations and such), swipes, basic freezes, basic spins, and handglides (they're not that popular of a move really, but being able to balance well like that will come in handy a lot with harder moves). Practice plenty, make sure that you're having fun, and accept that you're a newbie for now. Also, try to watch bboy clips of all different styles, because after you get down the basics, you'll probably start to drift towards a certain style, and it helps to decide what you think will be cool/fun for you in the beginning (I'd recommend old-school, of course )

So, I dunno. Just get in there and stay there, and keep practicing hard. You may not be good now, but you won't believe how much you've progressed a few months from now. Once you start to get decent, it gets way funner, so don't lose hope. Well, good luck with your bboy career, and have fun.
