yea, for sure it plays a factor in my area. cause if i was out in cali or new york or a place where there are more bboys, you got more competition and probably some better people in the area. and in my area, there aren't a whole lot, and up more towards the better end. so for sure because of where we're at we got a couple sponsor's. |

Start with local hiphop stores and clothing labels.
You gotta look at your scene and see what is active locally - start off with them. If you start to get wider ranging work/gigs/jams - ie, if you start travelling, then you can start to look to bigger companies. Don't make too big an issue of it though. |

In the south there's a few, but I couldn't tell you exctly.
I know there's a place in camden, London called Four Star General that is a good spot to pick up fat laces, some old sneaks, and a few other bits and pieces. There's a chain of "Cariafro" stores, but I only ever use them for hats and bandannas, and even then it's rare. The yend to stock more towards people who want to look like Puffy. |

agile...i used to live in ohio and there was nothing
... like mansfield or somethin....anyways...any of you think its possible to get sponsored if there aren't alot of jams and stuff...all I can really think of in pittsburgh is graff, and still there isn't alot. I'm pretty sure there aren't alot of bboys...I'm the only one at my school, and my friends that live on the northside don't know any ...all I can think of is going outside some store at the mall and drawing in a crowd to show that I could attract people to a store ...I know people who have done the video thing, but unless it was a bboy company I don't think the video would really work...anyone got any other ideas?? |

Vin Diesel and the Internet - relation? I THINK SO
Vin Diesel invented the internet while trying to steal cable TV. Contrary to popular belief, it was in fact Vin Diesel who invented the internet. Al Gore stole the designs when Vin fell asleep at his keyboard. http://www.4q.cc/vin/index.php |
