What's the ideal bodytype? - 01-15-2004, 09:10 PM

Hey yall, I'm 5'11", 162; so I'm kinda wirey and lanky...my question is, yall think I might be too tall? Most of the bboy's I've seen are shorter an wirey, and I was just wondering if height is a factor.

Can yall tell I have no experience?

size does play a factor, the best breaker in my school is hella small i mean this dude is like 4:11 hes not a midget hes just asian, and this dude can bust some sick stuff, than theres the other dude thats known as the chubby dude that breaks, and he is the 2nd best hes pretty tall and kinda chubby but can bust some nice 90's and millz. these are just examples tho, but yes height is a factor

size doesnt matter...... just depends how hard you want to do it....

yes true but there are ideal body types for power moves, but of course body types dont matter much for style, but for power it plays a factor, smaller people have better center of gravity they can control them self more, but taller people are more lanky and may have trouble doing like windmills or flares but have other advantages.

i've seen people of all difrent sizes be dope with power

unless your extremely big..size is not a huge factor..only too a certain extent anyway

if u are too big for breakdance:
1)u are a godzilla
2)u are a sumo wrestler
3)u are pregnant
u can try though, but u will result a massive earthquake!

if u are too small for breakdance:
1)wait a minute......u never be too small for breakdance!...woohoo.....small sized ppl win this time!

i think that if you are fit or maybe trained it is probably easier to learn freezes and power(the acrobatic stuff) ....but when it comes to style it doesnt matter...perhaps stuff might be faster if you are small ...but in the end size doesnt matter ...if you cant do one thing you might be sick at another
