I don't really know what the age for working out with weights has to do with it. I guess because I heard that today in health class and felt like sharing my knowledge with ya'll.

it doesnt matter really....but when i have my kid iam going to teach him bboying when he is like 3 years old so he is insane when he is 15....like....this kid in one of my crews is like 10 i think and he nearly has airflares....INSANE

Peeps, please !!!!!!!, I mean, I'm 13 (14 in a week
) and I started bboyin' a month and a half ago, I can do 3 and 6 step clockwise, I'm getting my turtles (YESTERDAY I FOUND MY SWEET POINT !!!!! ), and I also am workin my kip ups with my Kung-Fu teacher, I got the 2 legged swipes, I only gotta work on the momentum on those ones (I just can't get 'em fast !!!!), I am wokin' my handstand, I ALMOST got my Valdez, handspin also too, front handsprint...well...I am "wokin' " on that one, I just gotta shake the fear , I got the cofee grinder, and some workouts also, well, peeps've told me that I'm pretty advanced, only that I don't think so cuz I got this friend of mine, OggyNosh, that got flarez, 90's, and all that high shit and he started exactly when I did....well, bout stuntin' ur growth, I really don't know, some of my peeps say that it doesn't, others say that yes but just a little, others say that it depends on ur diet, etc. I really don't care, BUT when I see I'm 16 and I am still 1.70 meters, I QUIT !!!!!!!, Jaja, I don't deeply wish that....Peace |

I never really started and stuck to it till i turned 16 but ive been on and off since i was 13 mostly cuz of skating ...but every winter the snow overwealms me and what else better to do than to break?

I think you got to prepare yourself before you start breaking: from 8years old you've got to start gymnastic until your 12years old and then you've got to begin bboying. you can start later but than it's harder to learn things I think. I'm from when I was 13years old i think but i didn't did gymnastic

id say start ur footwork/toprock, some easy power moves stuff at around 8/9/10... then get into power at 13/14 cus its not too good to be doin all that power when ur so young... not too good for the body...
