Alot of my friends assume that bboying is all about power! I'm fucking pissed at this. They think that if a bboy is able to bust windmills, flares or headspins they are considered a pro. Whats worse is that some of them assume one guy is the greatest bboy ever just becos he busted solar eclispe! (OMG?) they think that footwork is damn easy and anybody can do it. so in their eyes, anybody who cant do power is an asshole who is TRYING to break but cant! they dont know shit about bboying and they comment on bboys who have tight footwork & style. to me, style is always better then power. style is something u have which is unique and only u have it but power is just a skill.
anyway all this "bboying is all about power, u dont know how to break if u cant do headspins" shit truly pisses me off! alot of other bboys i know are pissed at this too  wat do u guys think?p.s - sorry about the profanity |

even worse is the crowd at dances. it starts out w/ easier stuff like footwork and that shit, but once some1 busts out windmills or flares or something, then all the style moves are looked down on and if u dont do better mills or flares or whatever power and u just do style, then they'll say ur shit.
people are so ignorant. they pick favorites and they dont know shit about difficulty of moves. they probably dont even know what style is, or even power. all they know is "the more u spin upsidedown with ur feet in the air, the better you are" so i say they can go shit themselves, cuz they cant do anything that can top a bboy's toprock. |

me too, well it happens, ppl who doint understand bboying will seem and act wierd to bboys, and ppl who dont like/ understand other dances might seem ignorant to the ppl who do that dance. can happen any way, any time

I too hate it when people think that whoever can do power is the best. It really pisses me off. That's why I busted windmills on my last performance in front of the school. Now everyone comes up to me and respect me a lot.
