while chating to a friend of mine he suggested that i use steroids in order to build up my strength. at the time i was like whatever, but now i keep thinking what would the scene be like if breakers (especially powerheads) took steroids to improve, coz it would mean that we'd be seeing some new explosive moves being thrown down and it aint liek bboying has drug tests to see who is on drugs, but would the style aspects of the dance be negated, also would we lose a part of the soul of bboying if ppl took enhancers

I don't really think steriods would make much of a difference, except make the guys bigger, and probably be harder for them to do moves.

regardless of what new moves they did..it wouldnt really be them doing it..the drugs would be doing the work..and wheres the satisfaction in that..if your a true bboy..you do it for yourself..which means you dont care how you look to other people..you dance cause you love it..taking steroids to improve your bboying would in a way be sayin that your not true to the culture..steriods are totally the wrong way to go...theres nothing good about them in the end

nah dont take steroids to improve your breakin. Theres no point.
To get the effects of steroids you have to train hard and eat a strick diet while taking the drug.
All that will happen is you will look like a huge basterd.
If you want to improve your strength just wieght train or if your to young do handstand push ups, tricep dips and anything that your just using your own wieght for. If you want to be a good breaker just train. I bet any money if some dude on steroids comes out and does some sick move. Some normal bboy could do exactly the same.
Dont do it, its not worth it.
You should know anyway breakin isnt about strength. If you can hold your body wieght then thats all you need. Just hold a handstand against a wall and time yourself and hold it for as long as you can. You will get stronger and be able to hold your body wieght easier. Breakin especially power uses momentum, And a little strength.
If you are seriously thinking about taking steroids
Go see your local doctor and ask what are the pros and cons of the drug. Then get the doctor to help you take it. IF your going to take steroids take a small amount. Or even better
DONT TAKE ANYTHING

Steroids are some iffy stuff.
But think about this; If you are around 16 years old, your body is ALREADY producing some kind of steroid in your system naturally. Thats what steroids are meant to replace anyways, as you get older and past the point where your body is done growing.
BUT also, if you dont exercise CONSTANTLY or work out ALOT, steroid is just going to make FLAB! thats right FLAB! lol. Even at that, they have several long term side effects i havnt meantioned (weak heart, ect.)
In the end, you can get buff with just plain hard work, and unless you really plan on being a supa buff guy, i say just go the all natural way.

Dont mess with steroids they wont help u at all a former friend of mine too them to "enhance his breakin" and he grew boobs cause they fucked up his hormones.
