ALWAYS SHOES!....
I dont think anyone will deny their love for a smooth hardwood floor. Linoleum is great but i really like that smooth marble stuff. |

At home i either pop on straight concrete or break on concrete with cardboard over it then linoleum over the cardboard works real well. Nothing i may say is better then a smooth hardword floor. Also the stuff the group i session with is good its a little hard but i have no clue what it is.

i probably have the best surface in my room i have smooth wooden floor but i dont have a whole bunch a room so i cant practice most stuff i would like to... i have barely enough to do footwork with no long moving steps. Hmm roughly i could do 1 swipe non circular and that would be all the room i got.
i bust with no shoes but barefoot cause socks make you slip on this surface |

lino/cardboard/floorboards are the most popular i think.
I train on lino in my room. I sleep on just a matris on the floor with my sleeping bag and doona. When i wanna break i but all my pillows and sheets and shit in my cuboard and lift up my matris and lean it against a wall. then i have my entire room to break in. I got a nice amount of space. But i will break anywhere. but just a tip. If you gunna break on concrete dont do windmills. It doesnt hurt it just fucks up your shirt! Believe me ive tried. My mum got real pissed coz i wrecked my shirt. but if theres sapce you break. My friend was learning 1990s. And we were at the train station and he says yo check this out. He normally can only do 1 rotation of a 90. he goes up and does 3 rotations, man i nearly collapsed i was like holy shit and my friends gets up and looks at his hand and his got like no skin on his palm. there was blood all over the place. A few days later he had his palm all bandaged and he comes up to me and says man check it out. I was like man your crazy. and he says man i know, hey, this is perfect for 90's so he starts training 1990s with his bandaged hand! I thought id share that with you. Now the moral of the story is CONCRETE ROCKS, TRAIN ON CONCRETE |
