it was a beautiful night out and me & mah palz went to a party.
we chated over MCs, bboys and music.
then we somehow came to d culture and birth of hip hop.
one of my friends said: ''God, im glad that hip hop was born in west side LA.''
and i was like: ''WTF????? not! east was d birth place.''
he didnt agree.
later we ALMOST put up a fight over this and still didnt come to d conclution, where is d birth place of hip hop.
im a bboy, i am 100% sure that it started in d Bronx NY, EAST.
but they dont believe me

im just curious,
where is d birth place of hip hop, that means: MCing, graffitti, bboying and dj-ing (scratching)?

why is d west so popular and succesful?
did hip hop spread from east or west?
where r d best MCs? bboys? graffittis? dj's?
why are the sides fighting? why NOT peace?

oh, and d most important 2 questions:
who and where did hip hop start?
where is it respected the most?

the west is popular and successful, because they have people dedicated to their shit. so does the east.

oh and hip hop isn't respected more somewhere else than another place. there's no one place with more respect for the culture than another.

east changes too much. yeh ny wuz da birth place but ny is always changing dey stuff. da bboying scene in da west is much bigger. nowa days bboys on da east dunt get as much props..haha i know frum experience. now there is all sorts of funky dances but it wuz frum da east too

nah, all yal cats is lyin to him. Dont be ashamed, Yall all no Hip-Hop started in Oklahoma. Geez, erbody know that. Back when the pilgrams came, they were already split up. There was yer preppy pilgrims and then your hip hop heads. And since at the time the preppy pilgrims had mo money, they kicked all the Hip Hop heads west. So all of em traveled to the middle of the U.S (oklahoma) and the bboys were like this dirt is smooth, I could bust some mills here. And the M.C's were like we could drop some rhymes here. And the DJ and cats that were taggin at the time followed. Then one day erbody got in a huge battle and all the cats that got beat had to move even farther west cos they were whack. Then all the preppy pilgrims were like the hip hop heads is dope and they wanted to be like us, but it wasnt the same. And thats how it happened, the tru history of hip hop's origen, and dont get it twisted.
