Hell yeah!
I gotta say that movie is sick. I mean i totally identify with brucee leroy...here is this cat trying to get to the final level ya know and i think every bboy and bgirl could identify with struggling every day to hit that move or to perfect that routine you know. Maybe i'm looking too far into a kick ass kung fu film but truthfully i find it kinda inspirational.

yeah man, that nigga leroy was hard. he walked the block in his training uniform and didn't take shit from anybody. he whooped the shit out of those dudes that tried to steal that woman's purse, and he got the final level and whooped the shogun's ass. i'm tryin to get my final glow in martial arts, so i feel you when you say it's inspirational.

poetry is a work of expresion, comes in good with style and perfection, with paper and pen you begin to write, the poetic way of non violent fight, poetry is a settled state of mind, concentration in the soul is what your tring to find.

Allow me to enlighten

::ahem::;

Berry gordy's "The Last Dragon" came out around 1985 and starred Taimak and up and coming singer/starlet(at the time) Vanity. This film was along the lines of classic black kung fu movies like blackbelt jones. The basic plot of the movie is as follows Bruce leroy(taimak's) has been training with his master for what one can only assume to be quite some time. Upon the completion of a brief final test (which we see in the opening credits)Bruce leroy's master states to him that he can teach him no more and that the only thing he has left to do is ascend to the final level.Distraught and uncertain as to what to do Bruce Leroy begs his master not to shun him. Bruce leroy's master tells him about a sage much wiser than him who may be somewhere in manhattan called sum dum goy and that if he truly needs a master he should seek sum dum goy out. Our hero leaves his dojo with a nifty talisman said to have once belonged to bruce lee and a mission. That is all you get without me ruining the film. Go rent it!
