I suppose what I'm getting at is this, it ain't even a cutting edge move anymore, but whenever someone does it, people act like it's the first time they have seen it.

I was training with Scrambling Feet when I was in Switzerland, and there was a kid there who was using airflare to warm up to the moves he was doing.

At one point he hit something like 10 airflares just thinking about the combos he was going to do.
It think a lot of it comes down to a lack of creativity in what you do with your moves. Some people think that flare-arflare-flare is the epitome of power at the moment, but it's over a year behind now.

I won't hesitate to make a mess when I see someone like Nuno pulling an Airflare-Inverted Ball 90-Airflare-Mill-Airflare-Mill-Elbow airflare-airflare-Inverted 90-Airflare-1990-One armed invert/hollowback 4 freeze combo.

ta tell you the truth, i've been mad bored of airflares ever since that preveiw of 2002 finalz for boty, it bored the hell outa me, but w/e, i'm bored of alotta power newayz, but w/e, lol

10 flares to 10 airflares to 90s just gets really boring.

But when its explosive, there is nothing wrong with that combo, as long as thats not ALL you do.

Just one of each power move, goin back and forth between them looks hot. I especially love when people mix windmills in, because windmills got so played out everyone stopped doin them, and now its like, when i finally do see some mills its refreshing.

Has to be seen to be believed.

There's a taster of it on the UK Champs 2001. He battles with COTMB fomr Reading, he's pretty easy to spot, he's in the first battle of the event and does on shot power combos in both his throwdowns.

You'll also see the guy who tought me the dance. Mouse. He's wearing a big white vest and is on the same crew. he's a little (but built like a house) Phillipino guy - and arguably the best on his crew. (No offence to the rest of the crew of course - they'd all burn me)

in my opinon flare 2 airflare is wild move and when its done with explosive power it looks even better.and airflares in the uk aint old news hardly anyone can do it anyway in the uk and if they can they cant do shit all else and flare 2 airflare in the uk well thats another story.evo was in 98 by far the best bboy in the uk and probably still could be now but he fucked up bigtime in the uk champs 2001 he looked kinda like he was trying 2 hard and lost control of his moves.as 4 mouse nah i dont rate him as no dancer he got completley burnt by sonic he just had no chance ,mouse has got a few moves but he bytes 2 much from guys in the states and i notiched sonic has less moves than mouse but the way he exccutes them with speed and style fucked mouse up it was like the cat came calling for the mouse and chewed him up and spat him out just check the individual battles out its all there.

it's just something that ppl do. I mean back in the days of Beat street, ppl did a shyt load of windmills, hell even hand glides. IMO, ppl bust what they want, can't stop them. Just let them do what they want and you be tru to what you like to do.

well.... keep on practicing, i finally got to practice again today, after all the drama and bullshit i been through lately, but i hit windmill elbow airflare elbow spin, it was pretty kool, but i only got liek 1 elbow spin, i got headspin elbow airflare but i cant continue yet, i'm finally starting to hit more power and shit........ but i still cant windmill, hahahah, awkward ey, i got 90's, flares, headspins, 1 airflare, 1 elbow airflare, butttttttt. no windmills

Not many people in the UK have moves like airflares, is because of the way we train here. Take a short trip to Paris... Whole crews training in shopping centres, train stations etc, EVERY NIGHT and in places like La Defence most days too.
The simple fact is that training is not taken as seriously here as elsewhere, but this is a whole different story...

flare airflare is the easiest power combo, n the easiest way to get into airflare which is why u see it done a lot for combos. however coming back down is one of the hardest because of ur wrists...i give it the respect its due, its more a linking move now which explains the popularity of it n probally why ur sick of it.
