Well...seems we're back in the Mike fight..HELL YEAH!!, I'M IN!!...k, well, my personal opinion is that Mike sucks at teaching, in showing, in bboyin'...well...leat's leave it in that he sucks at everythin', Mike, if u're reading this, let me tell ya that ur shitty theaching wasted almost all of my 1rst month of training, I mean, u NEVER say in ur vids that u've gotta take out ur own style from footwork, neither with your so much called "6 STEP" that actually is a "3 STEP", then, why de hell do u teach your "ONE LEGGED SWIPES" before the "2 LEGGED SWIPES" ?!?!, aren't the one legged ones HARDER than the 2 legged?!?!, same with mills, first u teach em like crab, u don't know how to, then u teach em in the hardest way, or well...not the easyest one, u should teach em beggining from HANDGLIDE andnot fron the 2nd step of 6 step, then u NEVER explain...well..not explain...even say the word MOMENTUM, u never, not even one time, say that word, it's like u're a school teacher and u're teaching youre lil students to write and u don't tell them that u've gotta use the PENCIL or PEN to write, it's the same, MOMENTUM it's the key for ALMOST ALL the moves in bboyin', at least for me it was the key, understanding the difference between vertical, horizontal and circular momentum (THANX TO YO'ALL BBOYS IN HERE!!) , so, my opinion is that u suck at training and I think that ANYONE could beat you, so, fuck off or shut up, and if u've got the balls, then, answer me...
then, u, redeyedol, k, u seem as a newb, but an IDIOTIC one, why de hell do being good in bboyin has to depend on being on MTV or not ?!?!, MTV is not the supreme part in an artistic or pop career, it's just a mtf channel, like the weather channel  , then don't come here to say your BS, please, first learn somethin before sayin stupid things, and if u want to put MTV as the top thing, then Anubis here could be on it anytime he wants, he's one hell of a good teacher....K, pz |

mike garcia tought me swipes and thats about all, i personnaly dont "hate" his videos, they arnt to shabby. but its not the best either

its funnie how today i borrowed how to breakdance vol. 1 and 2 from a friend of mine and when i go on this thing i see u guys all talken joint bout "breaker" (das a gay azz nikname by the way) anyway after watchin the videos i have no choice but to agree wit u people on how much of a loser he is... geezz he seems to not know diddly squat bout breaking nowadays... all he kan do is some nice millss and das what i was sayin when i was watchin the film... bboy venom is really kool tho i like his name.... but senor garcia is jus plain garbage if u ask me... im not sayin im better than him bekaus i suck i only been breaking since march 20th... but im shure there are mad people out there who kan sweep the floor wit him in a battle... i think i kno why u guys dun like him... i kno i dun like him kaus he has nooooooo style!!! wit his uprocks... its sooo darrnnn ugllyyy his style iz nazty and everyone knows u kant win a battle wit power alone... u gotta add some style in there to make it look pretty... he's what i kall a "pop" breaker... someone who's jus popular and goes out there and is really flashy for a krowd most of these pop breakers have only one move they're really good at and for garcia its his windmills... u even notice that what u see him doing most is windmills... he's not a true breaker like all u guys here on dis forum who prolly busts there azzes not to show off but bekause u love this stuff as much as i do (and das a lot)..............

Or has he? Because if he hasn't, then perhaps in the vids, he's simply showing everyone in such a crappy way so that he can relate to the beginner's skill. Really. If someone's been b-boying for 18 years, yet STILL sucks... jeez. I don't think that's possible. That's like saying you've been speaking English for 18 years yet you still can't speak it well. Even though I've never seen him teach or battle, he's probably amazing. My opinion. |

If the dude does nothing but swipes and mills for 18 years, then all he will have is swipes and mills. They will be clean, but you can get em clean a lot faster than that. It's very possible for someone to break for that long and suck.

if i started bboyin ever since i was born.... im 14 right now.... i would be doing tombstone mills and double airflares.. ill pull off crazyass combos nobody ever seen before... because i am devoted to bboyin.... my style will pwn all muahha but yeah it aint like that tho..... i'd love to battle mike someday too
lol i dunno why but the only video i seen from mike garcia is volume 4, didnt bother to get the others.. i didnt learn anything from it either but i dont care about the steps, i use the video in slow motion so that i can study every movement of the airflare/halos and whatever moves are there.. yeah you could say im teaching myself |
