damnit.
from footwork/flares can't bend my wrist backwards from swtching from palmed footwork to inner knuckles due to wrist injury: can't bend my wrist forwards from toprock: hurts to bend my left foot up from new windmill variation i tried today: huge red bruise on my right shoulder that makes it impossible to lift my arm... ouch from elbow drops: lump on my elbow from footwork techniques: Extremely sensitive kneecap (can't even do basic footwork sometimes just cause of lightly nudging it) ahhh all these together are killing me. =( anyone esle wanna share injuries? they suck. right now i can't comfortably practice toprock, can't do footwork at all, can't do any power (well today i was able to do windmills but i just hurt myself again), and can't even do freezes... ahh i'm not breakin for a few weeks.. this sucks. lfmao anyone else in a similar situation or been in a similar situation? |

haha and ironically i just hurt myself oing a new windmill variation that i realized gives you HUGE amounts of momentum FAST. basically when you're on your back, your arms are up like if the cops went 'put your hands up!' lol. and then when you're in the front like bellydown, your hands are like near your hips so its like your arms mirror your legs. it looks pretty sick imo, but more importantly you get a shitload of momentum FAST. like i was going really fast so i stopped using my head to pivot and instead ended up landing on my shoulder REALY hard.. practice on gymnastic mats... gotta remember that...

My wrists are constantly getting sore like that from planche training and doing windmills and stuff. This might help you on the road to recovery: Quick Injury Help Guide (Rice)

Is she now? Waltzing is very dangerous, it's easy to punch someone while waltzing. Someone should write an article about that.

Right shoulder gets occasional tendinitis flares.
I've torn the fibers in my right lower back twice Sprained my right index finger and left thumb pretty badly. My left wrist has been injured 3x and I think its at the point where it will never be 100% again. My right wrist has been injured about 3x as well I've strained my elbows twice practicing hollows. My knees get worn out when I go into hardcore training and start hurting so bad its hard to walk up the stairs. I have a pretty bad bone bruise on my left foot right now if it touches anything it feels like someone was sticking it with a branding iron. I have a sprain somewhere in the middle of my right foot that happened a few weeks ago but I keep practicing on it so it keeps coming back. I've had minor neck strain injuries 5-6 times now. The worst of them gimped me from using my head for about a month. I have innumerable burns on my shoulders hands elbows forearms and knees. Thats about it. I don't really get hurt THAT much but I'm notoriously bad about practicing over all injuries so I tend to aggravate them. For example I did a 10rd battle yesterday with a pair of underwear in the back of my left shoe to pad the bone bruise... it stung like hell but it was tolerable. |
