my height has stopped me from doing two things

1.Pursuing my fucking love for dancing
2. and getting women taller than me.

I gave up a while back. I was actually doing well. Then I just lost it all. I wanna try again. My top rock went to Fail Rock

Is there any hope for me? I've never seen a professional bboy that was 5'5.or a freestyle dancer for that matter. I want people to say "damn, he's good" not "damn, that's hella cute". dude i don't have a video. but there's a dj around here that bboy's too. he's actually the one who gave me the final push to start bboyin' he's 5' 0" seriously the guys comes up to my armpit but i don't make fun cuz he's fucking sick. all you need to bboy is attitude get some confidence and intensity and no ones gonna call you cute.

Lmfao, obviously you haven't been trying long enough to realize. Height has nothing to do with dancing. What matters is if you are dedicated enough. You shouldn't want people to say nice things about you, you should be telling yourself that you're the shit. Don't worry about what other people think, as long as your know whats up about yourself. Have some self confidence man, forreal.

Um wtf, if your shorter you should have faster footwork and power moves, better center of gravity on headspins, better power/weight ratio, less energy used because of your leg size you are basically in a "lower gearing" so to speak, actually i could go on all day about the benefits of being shorter when bboying.

Actually i have to bend my legs heaps when doing top rock and footwork otherwise the amount my feet stretch out affects my style.

I forgot the guy in zulu kings, hes a midget bboy (literally) and hes fucking pro. As soon as he pulls out some mad shit people stop thinking "hes cute", and start thinking "this guy fucking owns".

The smaller you are the easier bboying should actually be due to the fact you can move around on the ground more quickly. Most people that are smaller then 5'7 usually have the same leg and arm length and hence the style in their moves is AWESOME!!!

I know heaps of bboys who are no taller then 5'8 so you actually have an advantage.

Also there are taller bboys then 5'8 who are good also. The most important things are practice and patience!

LOL duuuude, do you know how short Lilou is? Smurf? MACHINE? Seriously I thought Machine was at least 5' 8 (my height) but when I met him at the UK Champs it came as a huge surprise that he was a lot shorter. Also check out Flying Buddah.

I personally am 5"4 so I'm pretty short for my age (17) and I am satisfied with my height.
