I know. It pisses me off. I just wish someone would know how it really feels to be a B_Boy and know that we take risks to perform, to entertain. I just got to say that they are all just haters.

Wow. There are a ton of noob posts in this thread.

"heres a tip: i like to make lots of sets. to see what flows, i just think, "Do a random toprock!" so i do that. next i go, "do a footwork!" and i try to flow well into it. next, i think, "do a _____!" and i do that, making sure it flows.
do that for awhile."-Gloves

Zulun maybe they are noob posts but what makes them noob posts? Explain what they could improve on. Instead of not helping anyone.

I understand the feelings of everyone in here, but you have to look past what other people think. You're dancing from the soul not because you need to prove that breaking/bboying is still 'cool'.

At my school people don't know breakdance a lot because there are not a lot of bboy and when they see me bboyin they like it and it's cool because i'm not really a good bboy, I do little bit of powermove and "correct" toprock and footwork and people think that I'm really good .

Sorry if my english is bad, I'm a Quebecois!

my friends look at me and tell me that there is now way i could ever be a b-boy. nobody where i live breaks. i know im not good right now. i just started. but everyone sucks at one time right? the only thing thats helping me is being alone in my room watching youtube videos and just doing my thing. i'd enjoy having someone to practice with but thats not gonna happen.

I don't want to be an ass but everyone always thought my footwork was dope. Even in high school. Maybe ya'll need to practice more?

Haha but seriously, if its wack its wack. You should know whether your shit looks wack or mad clean, so you really can't hate on anyone clowning you when all your crap is still weak. Everybody has to go through the "wack" stage, so stop complaining and get better.

P.S. it's not called breakdancing it's called BBoying or call it breaking at least, because breakdance is the name the ignorant media gave it when they first discovered it's existence and exploited it in the 80's!PEACE!
alright well idk about you and not wanting to watch ABDC and shit but i think some of those catz really have talent. i think that it is a good thing that ABDC came on bc now more ppl see what dancing really is. but what they see is the power moves and what not, power is for shows to entertain people. you can't be mad at people that watch ABDC and then you talk to them and there like oo shit super crew is so awesome thats bboying right there. bc it is. most of the crews that won are bboying crews. you can't sit at your comp and tell me that if you had the chance to tryout for ABDC that you wouldn't.... bc if you like dancing that much it should be like your dream to get exposure and get in videos or whatever. make a career out of it, if it means that much. anyways sometimes i do feel outta place but i can't do anything about it so i go about my business.... and practice.

Omg that pisses me off so much its kinda like a stereotype that all b-boys can spin on there heads..

Oh and since im a style freak some non-bboys don't appreciate any of the footwork I do, and people don't recognize it as b-boying... They all want " crowd pleasing moves".... like " oOOO!oO! Do that SPINNY THING on the ground!!!"

Meh yeah..tats all i gotta say haaha..
this is so fucking true i stopped saying i bboy because all they ever expect u to do is powermoves.
at dances, i do footwork and like no one says shit. once i start windmilling/flare they go "OMFG ADKASHQWEJK DOOO MEEE"

its annoying they dont appreciate style.

^ the thing is that everybody who's dedicating his/her life to hating the media and what they did to bboying sounds like a noob. theyre trying to sound like legit bboys by restating arguments against the media that have been around for ages. "OMG SERIOUSLY I HATE THE MEDIA BECUZ THEY CAME UP WITH THE TERM BREAKDANCING," or "YEAH I HATE IT WHEN PPL TELL U TO SPIN ON YER HEAD, (cuz they totally do that 24/7)"

you just see a lot of people making a big deal out of things that would just be minor annoyances to most bboys

and as man of confiden said.... ppl are hella deluding themselves. lots of noobboys just try to deny the fact that theyre whack!!! instead of taking the time to train harder and come back with cleaner and smoother stuff, they just go like "IT'S AIITE nobody understands me anyway"

i understand how it can be a lonely feeling that you have nobody to talk to bboying about, but that shouldnt be much of a problem if you actually have a social life. besides, that's what bboy.org is for

you can be alone as a bboy without being lonely
