can someone explain to me what a "cypher" and what a "jam" is??? and can someone tell me what a remix is on a song? i dont understand what they are thx

jam = bboy competition
cypher = a circle remix......ummm well its when a version of a song that is mixed differently. listen "scenario" by a tribe called quest then listen to the remix of it. |

Btw, Im pretty sure a 'Cypher' is more focused on the freestyle element of bboying. As in you go in and just see what you come up with on the spot.

In cyphers there also could be informal call outs to other b-boys to basically battle you in the cypher.
