I wouldn't really call those tactics, those would just be like small burns. And envo thats not battle tactics lol, thats just your own individual character. The best tactic is to just go out hard and keep your round short and to the point.

here are some tactics i like to use.

Dont let anything they do faze you. If ur tired, dont show it. Pay attention and make sure you keep eye contact and direct all your moves/footwork to ur opponent. Win the crowd...the more the crowd is hype for u...the more ur opponent will be self concious and question their skills.
Depending on how many rounds ur allowed during a battle strategize ur sets. If its one person one Round, dont hold back...its a battle!make sure u make it to the next round other wise if u hold back and dont make it to the next round..u will regret it and say "i shoulda"
If its more than 1 round per person, Do a lil something to mean business, but dont go all out...do enuff to bring them out without using too much energy...they after they come out, defeat their round. etc...i can go on more about this but i wont right now.

When u battle try not to sit down when its their turn...stand up and show confidence.
Dont look at ur feet...u look at urself dancing..it shows that ur thinking. A good battler will see this and attack u mentally

word to g-ball, sitting down is a sign of weakness BUT keep in mind that it works both ways. so if your enemy (just for that battle, he can be your enemy) is sitting, that's your chance to clown on him. exploit their weaknesses, hide your own, and make what YOU are good at more obvious.

to the people who say sitting down show weakness, it depends if it's 1 on 1, or crew on crew.

if it's crew on crew, it's ok. As long as some stand, and some sit. The ones sitting should be in the front, like a crew pic. It makes your crew look like a unit.

i prefer to go out second cause i can answer my opponents set.

if i do end up going first it would be because i'm really feeling the song, then i would need to do a really nasty set that's hard to answer.

it depends how much rounds there is

if its only one round i dont really care but if i go first i gotta bring my best. if im second i just gotta top my opponent

if its more than one round it doesnt really matter. i just bring out my best in the last round
