i have my own original style there's really no rules on how u should dress 2 a jam. gear is not gay it protects u if u feel elbow pads and helmets are necessary wear it. also don't stress yourself out on clothing judges are looking 4 ur b-boy skills although it's nice 2 show ur style

bboying IS about self-expression...and that goes for how you wanna dress as well...

...however a lot of judges at jams actually DO pay attention to the fashion...

i mean you wouldn't wear sweatpants to a job interview..

back in the day the shoes, the clothing, the attitude...it all ties together.

i'm not trying to say there's certain ways bboys SHOULD dress, but you all have to admit there's a certain bboy-style that's present in today's scene.
