:DDD Finally. -

Well, I just decided to make a vid at NWU in Illinois. Y'know, just for the purposes of seeing how good I'll be in a year or so and for the idea of being able to look back and see some progress. I forgot to do a vid after the first year, so this'll be my first.
It'll probably be a 3-4 minute vid showing the foundations I've gotten down smooth, some street tricks, toprock, locking, and the slightest tiny bit of popping. For those who've done vids and crap in public places: what do you do for camera issues? I'm not sure that I'd feel safe putting my EXPENSIVE AS SHIT camera on the ground with a bunch of college kids walking over it every two seconds, and there are only a few spots where I could put it on a stack of cement slabs or something like that. Aside from asking people on the street to help me out, how do you guys do it? Bee-tee-dubs, I'm excited for Saturday because I finally found the name of a song that I've heard and loved from a million bboy vids. Beggin' by Madcon. |

i'd say dancing in ur house is probably ur best bet.
if ur camera is expensive then u probably shuldnt risk leaving it on the ground on campus where it could get stepped on, or worse some1 can run up and take it, same goes for the street. if you wanna dance in public try asking a friend to hold the camera for u? |

Yeah, good idea.
Problem with dancing in my house is that on the street, I always seem to be a lot less awkward, as I am at battles. I have a habit of like, toprocking down stairs and stuff. Y'know...using my surroundings as props or something. EDIT: The cam isn't really that expensive, plus it's like the Beverly Hills of Beverly Hills. I doubt anyone would take it. |

im not entirely sure what u meant about the prob with ur house, im guessing ur saying that the street is more comfortable for u?
anyways using ur surroundings like props just makes ur vid even more cool IMO ![]() and even if ur camera isnt that expensive there are people who will steal the most simple things. my dad knew a guy who's car window was broken cuz he left a raggedy sweatshirt in there and some1 wanted to steal it (which they did). especially with the economy goin down atm, they might plan to pawn off the cam or sumthin iono <_< |

I'll make sure to bring a friend with me or something. Thanks, senor! I'll make sure a copy gets on the .org when it's finished. |
