Breakdancer and Graffer behaviour on the Net. -
10-26-2008, 07:00 PM
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, first of all.
I've been to a few sites for both, and I've seen a few things going on... BTW, graff = graffiti: 1) In the Breaking forums, people are a lot calmer and don't swear nearly as much as the people in the graff forum (this forum compared to the puregraffiti.com forums). 2) People in the graff forums swear to hell and only praise good people. Most people, anyway. 3) A lot of people in the Breakdancer section are more constructive. Most people in graff forums just /ragequit and throw your stuff back at you. 4) I like annoying people who get angry easily, and the graff forums are awesome for doing JUST that! So yeah... the only similarity is that all the new guys want to do the good stuff without learning anything TBH, they just jump straight in. TBH, I feel sorry for the new people because they do their best and then it just gets thrown back at them (and they get pissed on). Just my view on it. Peace. |

It's not called breakdancing, it's called bboying.
The damn site is named BBOY.org. And NO ONE would've got that graff=graffiti |

I'll just start off by saying the majority rappers today have no intention of supporting hip-hop culture. If you don't support the culture, then you aren't really hip-hop.

What may seem like common sense to you may not be common sense to someone else. There are many who do not know what "graff" stands for and that "breakdancing" is not a very accepted term in the community. You are addressing a new member of the site, a community becomes stronger through patience, respect and understanding.

Lol i don't think they'd like you calling it graff. I remember using the term before and getting shitted on for doing it. That being said i could be wrong cause it was ages ago.
And Darren your posts in the popping and locking forum wouldn't get shat on if you weren't such a tard most of the time. Peace |

And by the way, it is called breakdancing, just because we use a different term to identify ourself and what we do compared to the media doesn't mean they are wrong. |

JP has returned from retirement to start shit again!!! I was just telling the kid what it's called for future reference. I figured he would've got it by the name of the site. |

Getting up is a competition and basically in the graffiti world is about talking shit, because you aren't seen..Graffiti is territorial and toys won't be respected and they leave the scene fast anyway...
