Does it still qualify as 'learning on your own' if you use a guide or have someone help you or tell you how to do a move ?
Or does that mean you're being taught? |

I'd say its learning on your own if its by informational means.
When you're "being taught", I categorize it as being in person. |

teaching yourself = no physical people involved other than yourself
taught by others = other physical ppl (contra videos) showing you how to do something that's it |
