Footwork gloves -
10-21-2008, 06:57 AM
Hey peeps, does anyone have any links to a site where I could grab a good pair of b-boy gloves - i.e. ones you can use for footwork? I understand there probably aren't any 'b-boy' ones but anything that'll do the job and looks good will work just fine.
Cheers, peaz out. |

just use wrist bands, I usually use them when I get blisters on my hands again. unless you really need full gloves in that case I've heard that weightlifting gloves are pretty decent, though I haven't tried them, because I dont use any gloves

Those are cool n' all but for some reason I tend to slip when I use wristbands, normally resulting in me crashing a six-step. I've heard that putting gloves over wristbands are the best thing though, padded protection + grip. Yeah I was hoping for some cool-looking customised ones but I guess they don't exist.
Cheers! |

Those are the ones i use. Pretty easy to find, Sports Authority or Big 5 should have it or something. Then again you're located on London... So yeah... Uh... don't know any sports shops there but i'm sure you'll find it. haha. Oh and sorry if that's not a link to buy the gloves, but yeah... i posted a picture... i want a cookie.... or a medal. lol |

I'd say don't wear gloves unless you can do 90s20s or hand spinning moves or else you'll look like a faggot, even if you can do 90s20s or hand spinning moves don't wear them because you'll look like you cant do it without the gloves

A pair of airsoft gloves work nicely.

Thanks TheTon, I've been keeping an eye out for weightlifting gloves so I'll check out a sports store for 'em. And for those hating on gloves, they're useful when you want to train your footwork without ripping a callous open and not being able to train for a good couple of weeks. A lot of b-boys wear gloves without the faggotry, e.g. Hong 10, Snake, etc. Unless you have something against those b-boys.
