6.5
I consider myself pretty knowledgable about hip hop and the culture but I don't feel worthy of a 7. |
|
I'll just start off by saying the majority rappers today have no intention of supporting hip-hop culture. If you don't support the culture, then you aren't really hip-hop.

Whats hip hop?
lulz I dont really know. Probably a 0.5 like MaDD. I don't really know much about the history besides the original generation of Bboys and DJ Kool Herc. |

I know a good portion of the history, the big debates, the rivalries and whanot. I know about hip hop worldwide to some extent. I'd say there's not a whole lot of hip hop artists that i don't know about (excluding the one's i choose to ignore cause they're shit IMO) and i've got a good portion of classics from 1990 onwards in terms of albums.
However, i don't really know what i'd rate myself. I think there's still so much more to learn about it but i do think i understand the culture decently at the same time. So maybe a 5. I'm part of the way to being a head who knows his shit but i really don't like to pretend to speak with authority. Peace |

I'd give myself a 2 or 3 at max because aside from the mustknows, I'm near clueless.
