quick question about mills - 03-03-2008, 01:45 PM

hey guys, I wanna ask: when doing windmills should you turn a little on your back after the first turn before restabing? because when i do 1 turn I tend to restab very quickly, as soon as my back hits the floor.
anw here's a video of my windmills so you guys won't ask for one:

and also how do you make the video big not just a link?

Okay here we go....

First: Pause your video when you are first collapsing.. Notice how your legs are scissored.. this should NEVER happen, it messes with your momentum and thats part of the reason why you are rocking in your windmill..

Second: When you are on your back, lean back onto your shoulders, it almost looks though you are trying to do a situp.. which is also making you rock in your windmill.

Third: Your right leg... When you are on your back and about to roll to the front, you kick it almost straight over.. Dont do this... kick over, but also UP.. a lot... that will get the height you will need to restab or hop for no handers.. When first learning try almost sticking that leg straight up towards the roof as you roll over.. then as your get them better and move on to forearms, learn to find the medium between what your doing now, and shooting that leg straight up...à

Hope this helps =)
